  1. This is incredible! I’m really curious to know more about the foods to avoid, like carrots and beets. Is this because they are root vegetables? I’ve also heard that it is bad for women to drink milk once they stop growing as it will damage our bodies. Have you come across this in your research? It would seem this is untrue if indigenous people in Africa drink milk along with blood and consuming meat. I love your dedication to spreading all of this amazing information. I’m always looking forward to your updates and I’ve been following your websites for a few years now. I don’t remember how I found stoptherobbery.com but I’m so thankful I did. Keep it up!

    The reason to avoid carrots and beets is because they are high in sugar.
    This doesn’t mean NEVER eat them.

    Generally, from my research and experience, 70g or less of whatever carbs you want daily will keep you in good health.

    As far as the milk goes…
    Milk is filled with easily-digestible proteins and fats, and chalk full of vitamins and minerals as well. It’s got everything you need to survive, so to say it will damage your body I think would be a ludicrous statement.

    Thanks for all the great productions, Mark!

    This one however is grossly misleading. First of all, comparing the first-world high stress, less active people eating genetically modified, hormone injected, factory farmed and unhealthy animal products to the eskimos that live on much healthier, free and wild animals that themselves feed on fresh food, is not an accurate assessment.

    I must say I was surprised at this video and feel that you should have at least mentioned that it is better to eat fresh and organic meat.

    The whole thing about carbs in veg and fruit being unhealthy, I’m prepared to look into, although the evidence around me in my life so far contradicts that completely. The healthiest people I know are vegetarians and the carnivorous ones have already been for gall bladder removals, have had heart attacks at young ages and have cancer.

    What are your thoughts on this?

    Great point ‘Discerner’…
    Originally I had planned a section in the movie talking about conventionally raised meats vs grass-fed, but I thought it would make it less smooth of a production.

    That’s why I’m working on that video next ;)
    It will be called ‘Good Meat, Bad Meat’
    and will include some incredible informational developments.

    I don’t recommend conventionally raised corn-fed meats at all.
    All the studies and examples of people becoming sick from meat are from animals raised in CAFO’s.

    Very interesting video, I’m actually pretty surprised at some of this information. I have been avoiding cow’s milk for about a year now as I was led to believe it was hard to digest and not good for our bodies. I will have to do some more research I think!
    I’ve been drinking almond milk for the last year, which makes me think..what about nuts and seeds? Where do the fall into this? Surely they are good fats that should not be avoided? I’d be interested to hear your take on this.
    Anyway Mark, great video as always – they seem to be getting more and more slick the more you do.

    Your older website stoptherobbery.com (great website by the way) advocated strongly the book called never be sick again by Raymond Francis. In this book the doctor recommends staying away from milk calling it a deadly poison-paraphrasing. It was nutrient toxic. He advocated strongly really fresh fruits and vegetables although this doesn’t necessarily go against this video there seems to be contradictions appearing. Why the change? Who is right? Don’t mean to be an interrogator but why is the address bar not going to stop the robbery anymore?

    That is a good question.
    ‘Never Be Sick Again’ was the first book I read on health.

    The author who wrote it seemed to have had all the answers when I read it.
    It was very exciting.

    He advocated a mostly vegetarian, mostly raw diet – both of which I now know to be bad ideas. The author simply read 3 or 4 books and created his own book based on that. He gives some good advice and I like his overall philosophy, however, he’s missing out on the larger picture.
    As geneticist Catherine Shannahan has shown in her book ‘Deep Nutrition’, our genes needs the foods we evolved eating. High fat, Moderate protein diets are what will bring us back to health.

    Good video!

    In avoiding carbs, if you first cut out all the processed food, while still eating whatever whole fruits (not juice) and vegetables (including root vegetables) you want, I think you’d go a long way.

    Some active people can handle a little more carbohydrates, and for them, fruit and starchy vegetables would be a good way to get it. For the sedentary masses however, limiting fruit and starchy vegetables is important.

    Also eat the best quality you can afford: For plants, biodynamic is best, locally grown produce grown without pesticides and with soil amendments next, certified organic next, and conventional last. For animal foods, pasture based meat, eggs, and unpasteurized dairy are best, organic second best, and conventional last.

    Avoid genetically modified food. Because they don’t label GMOs, that’s a good reason to choose Certified Organic in stores, since there is at least a minimum standard here and no GMOs allowed. If you can’t afford Certified Organic, choose a diet mostly of animal foods, fresh produce, and added healthy fats like butter, coconut oil, lard, tallow, and olive oil. Most processed and grain based conventional foods have GMOs (soy, corn, canola, cottonseed are the big four to look for).

    Weston A. Price Foundation sells a $1 shopping guide that provides Best, Good, Avoid groupings for food types, and lists good brands available in stores (though the best food is directly from farmers, whole, no bar code!)

    As for the person who said the healthiest people he knows are vegetarians, that’s not true for me. I meet a LOT of former vegetarians and vegans in the WAPF whose health failed terribly on these diets and they have been recovering after adding nutrient dense animal foods back.

    Vegetarianism may work for some people, but it doesn’t for everyone. Sometimes it works for a while and they feel great, especially if they went from a “Standard American Diet” to a diet of mostly whole foods. But it isn’t giving up the animal foods that is making them healthier, it’s giving up the proceed foods. Meanwhile, they’re using up their stores of fat-soluble vitamins and minerals, and scavenging their own tissues for protein. (Your own human flesh, the ultimate animal food for your body! LOL) Once they’ve depleted their reserves, their health starts to suffer and they feel like their diet isn’t working anymore. Also a lot of “vegetarians” eat fish, dairy, and/or cheese, or even meat on occasion but still call themselves vegetarians. The occasional animal foods they’re eating are enough to keep them healthy. The people I’ve seen who had the worst health problems were strict vegans. Perhaps veganism works over the long term for some people, but in my experience, definitely not for everyone.

    This is goes against what Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn recommend. Both have done a extensive research and have drawn the conclusion that protein enchanting cancer cell growth. Also both have done experiment with real human and the result was chocking. All this is in the documentary “Forks over Knives”.

    what is your take on that?

    ‘The China Study’ is like the bible for Vegetarianism.
    I’ve read that in many cases the science was based largely on assumptions.

    I’ll never try to tell anybody how to eat or live their lives, but for me, the most logical thing is to eat what our ancestors have been eating for millions of years.
