I like the video series but this video is kinda a slap in the face to people who don’t believe in the pseudoscience evolution AND people who do since you got the definition of evolution wrong and this video has nothing about evolution.

James, the comment you made makes me think of two things:(1) that you are either sitting around waiting to grow a second pair of arms; or that, (2), you are still heavily influenced by the institutionalized way of thinking. I say this in a sincere and blunt manner. To me this (new) definition makes perfect sense. As intelligent, conscious beings, we play, at least at this stage of the process, an ACTIVE role in our evolution. Meaning that our actions directly affect rate of our evolution. And who says that the definition of evolution cant evolve as well. As we gain a deeper understanding of things the definitions of these things change, or “evolve”, to integrate the new knowledge. Eventually our dictionaries will have to be rewritten as well.
And this video IS about evolution because its the evolution of mind that we are now experiencing. As we gain awareness and consciousness (through the accumulation of knowledge), we begin to understand the best course of action to progress ourselves and the species. Of course, having the right knowledge or “truth” is key in this process. May the liberation of mind find all who are ready for it.

…Also, the next step in our evolution involves fully developing what could be termed “double consciousness”. This simply means that we must become aware not only of ourselves as the individual, but also of humanity as a whole. Having a means by which a common man can share ideas with a global audience is indeed evolutionary; and using this means to share knowledge that will lead to heightened states of existence and consciousness is an evolutionary act. If one was to expand their notion of evolution, it would be clear that we are going through some profound evolutionary changes… and we are in the driver seat! May we always think outside the box
